You are not alone. Sales can feel icky, used car salesman-y, but it shouldn’t…if you have a plan. Babe, you gotta have a plan.
Because sales is where the rubber meets the road in entrepreneurship. Without sales, your business doesn’t exist. Let’s face it, cute Instagram pictures aren’t going to get you out of your 9-5 and into the life you want.

Heck no to that. A sales call structure is not even close. A sales call structure is a deeply personal flow of conversation that takes your client through the sales process and helps them get closer to a decision. And decisions get you closer to building the business of your dreams.
Do you know what a sales call is NOT? A sales call is not a coaching call where you give away teaching or information or value! I can’t emphasize this enough. Don’t give away free s**t on your sales calls, ladies! Giving away your crown jewels almost never gets you sales. So job number one is to let your prospective client know unequivocally that yes, babe, this is a sales call. And that you are passionate about what you are selling, because what you are selling transforms lives.
What a Sales Call Structure IS
Why are you making a sales call in the first place? I know it seems intuitive, but I see entrepreneurs dancing around the subject all the time. The purpose of sales calls is to sell your offer to your ideal clients. PERIOD. Therefore, sales calls are all about figuring out if the person you are meeting with is a good fit for what you have on offer. Remember, you are interviewing them as much as they are interviewing you.
An effective sales call structure supports this conversation around whether or not it makes sense to work together.
“I don’t know what to say.”, I hear again. And I counter:
“You’ve got this. Want a super secret sales pro tip?”
OK, I’ll give you two. Here’s the first:
Let them do most of the talking.
Your prospective clients will give you all the information you need to win.
Selling is all about asking questions and waiting for a response. And the best sales questions include language that positions you as an expert.
You are Selling Possibility
We all sell different programs and services, gadgets and gizmos aplenty, but if your sales call structure is focused there, you’ll only get so far.
Be crystal clear about what your offer will create for them and their business.
Remember, you are selling POSSIBILITY. Offer your prospective clients a future they can live into and they will buy from you.
