There\u2019s <em>a lot <\/em>of noise when it comes to where you should broadcast yourself. However, if you\u2019re a solopreneur, a service provider, a coach or a mentor\u2026 you\u2019re 100% ready to kick-butt on email. My email list subscribers are my most dedicated fans. They buy my courses, sign up for my programs, get in touch with me with feedback, engage with my content and rave about me online.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\"><p> Are you picking up what I\u2019m putting down? Wanna have that kind of connection with <em>your <\/em>audience?<\/p><\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n<p>Let\u2019s chat about your new BFF &#8211; your email list\u2026 &lt;3<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">1. It\u2019s personal<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Social media is hella busy these days. We follow hundreds of people on Instagram, \u2018Like\u2019 a bunch of pages on Facebook, but how much of their stuff do we actually read? Not a whole lot.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p> With email, it\u2019s different. Signing up for someone\u2019s newsletter is a way of telling them, \u2018hey, I care about what you have to say\u2019. By getting people signed up to <em>your <\/em>email list, you\u2019re being welcomed into their private space &#8211; it\u2019s a conversation they value and it\u2019s a connection that feels way more personal than a status update.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">2. It\u2019s targeted<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Spending time on your email list is like spending time nurturing a freakin\u2019-hot-lead! These people are already invested in you, they believe in you and they are interested in learning about what they can buy from you. Unlike going out and scouting for clients yourself, these email subscribers are fresh leads coming straight to you! Targeted, ready to buy and simply awaiting your drop-dead-fabulous sales pitch!&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">3. It\u2019s your own<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>On social and even with your website, you\u2019re competing for airtime. Either your tweaking and twerking all over your SEO ranking, or you\u2019re trying to shout the loudest on Instagram &#8211; it\u2019s a battle and I\u2019ve met plenty of strong women who have felt pretty burnt-out by the process.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p> In swoops email again. It\u2019s <em>your <\/em>space, it\u2019s exactly what <em>you <\/em>want it to look like and it\u2019s not being compared to the post above or below it. You can make email whatever you want it to be.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">4. It\u2019s easier for people to buy from you<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>A strong subject line, a crafted message of value and a simple, obvious CTA &#8211; wow, it\u2019s never been easier for a customer to find what they want! If someone was already thinking of investing in you, you\u2019ve just made it a whole lot easier. Plus, 72% of people <em>prefer <\/em>receiving promotional content through email\u2026 so, duh! Get in there!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">5. It\u2019s more effective than social media<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Whilst we\u2019re talking stats &#8211; 3.57% of people click through on links from email compared with just .07% on Facebook. Social is too general these days and it\u2019s hard to make your incredible offering stand out to those who aren\u2019t already following you. You\u2019re not competing when you email &#8211; and the proof is in those percentages \ud83d\ude09<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In honesty, I couldn\u2019t launch <em>without <\/em>my email list. The best thing about launching and using email lists is that one feeds the other\u2026 My last launch added 5,000 people to my email list. That\u2019s a further 5,000 people who are ready to buy from me again, or for the first time.
