Professional Wine Nerd

WHITE WITCH

Nerdy about: foreign policy, Star Wars, Brunello di Montalcino wine, Chinese antiques, dismantling the patriarchy, collecting art, Advaita Vedanta philosophy, witchcraft, and Marcella Hazan recipes.

Bonnie & Clyde's mom has got it going on.

I got kicked out college when I was 19.

I was depressed, stopped going to class for a year, and… yeah. Oops.

My mother, in all her questionable-but-somehow-wise glory, sent me to an ashram (a Hindu monastery) for a month to get my yoga teacher certification.

I immediately hated it. I was convinced she’d dropped me off at a cult.
But then one day, something… clicked.

I found real peace in the teachings and chose to stay on as a staff member for another six months.

I was given the spiritual name Vani Devi, initiated into the lineage of Adi Shankaracharya, and had my first-ever astrology reading.

My life has a very clear before and after, and the ashram is the line between them. I never struggled with depression again. I went back to school, started taking graduate classes, and I’ve been a practitioner of Advaita Vedanta for 13 years now.

My spiritual life is the foundation everything else was built on.

From $0 to $1 million in nine months.

When I was 22, I moved to Bali with $800 and a one-way plane ticket.
A year later, I was featured in Forbes and running a million-dollar business.

Not bad for a girl who’d been kicked out of college just four years earlier.

My life changed seemingly overnight. I had 35 team members, thousands of clients, and a business making $300k per month before I turned 25.

Everyone else was playing the volume game. I focused on depth, systems, and a brand that actually meant something... with an astrologer on retainer and a psychic on speed dial.

As proud as I am of how quickly I scaled to seven-figures, I’m even more proud that three dozen of my clients have done the same.

10 years and 11,000 clients later...

After three years living in Bali, I traveled across Europe for a year before settling in Scotland. I’ve been in Edinburgh for six years now, and in that time I got married and divorced.

I’ve built an eight-figure company that I’m genuinely proud of, and I’m honored that most of my clients stay with me year after year.

I’ve been coaching for ten years straight, and that feels important to say because a lot of big business owners pull themselves out of coaching and move into courses as soon as they can.

That’s not me.

Coaching is my calling, and I love working closely with my clients.

I weave business strategy and Western astrology to help female founders scale quickly and build wealth in alignment. I’m absolutely the Forbes-featured, zero-to-seven-figures strategy nerd… but I’m also the witch from the ashram.

I want women to build businesses that make millions and lives that feel priceless, and I feel like I’ve done that.

How do we make art out of — and peace with — the stories of our lives?

I had everything: the charming husband, the beautiful home, the million-dollar business. But behind closed doors, I was unraveling inside an abusive marriage.

My plan was to get divorced quietly and never speak of it again. But I stand for the liberation of women, and silence helps no one... least of all the people who think they’re alone.

I’m currently writing my first book, Hottest Ex-Wife Ever: A Memoir, and I host a weekly podcast of the same name about losing love, finding yourself, and starting over.

Sabrina Philipp is an eight-figure business coach and spiritual mentor for female founders, with 10+ years’ experience and 11,000+ clients served. Based in Edinburgh, she blends seven-figure strategy with astrology to help women build wealth in alignment. Dog mama to Bonnie and Clyde.
